Dental implants Zurich
Implants were a breakthrough in healthcare which made it possible to help those who unfortunately lost one, several or all teeth. Instead of using healthy teeth in a bridge construction or having unattached dentures moving around, you get fixed artificial teeth.
Only local anesthetics is required, which enables us to place the implant/s like a screw in desired spot of the jaw. Followed by a period of healing where the bone and implant grow together. The tooth replacement (dentures/crown/bridge) can then be fixed permanently with screws onto the implant/s. Today it is a standard method of dental medical treatment. You gain several benefits with this. Using implant-attached teeth are comfortable and will feel and look natural. Eating and talking will not be affected. It will appear as your own teeth!

Selecting a dental implant for your needs
In 1965, the first patient received dental implants made of titanium. When this patient died in 2006, it was discovered that the implants had worked well for more than 40 years. The operation was performed at the time by Dr. Brånemark, who also discovered the biocompatible quality of titanium, known as Osseo Integration. The next few years saw the extensive and rapid development of implants as a method of dentistry. Today, there is a wide variety of implants.
At ZahnCity, we offer implants made of different materials, in different lengths, widths and shapes. Factors such as implant position and bone mass are considered. Because implants work differently depending on the individual situation, we will choose the implant that is best for you. We use products such as Straumann and Nobel Biocare but we can also offer treatments with other implant systems as we have the appropriate instruments from other brands.

At ZahnCity, implant treatments are routine. You benefit from a calm and stress-free environment and, of course, the latest findings from implant research. Are you curious? Please give us a call or book your appointment online.
